LOCAL ATTRACTIONS Both the B&B and the cottage are located in the beautiful Cywarch valley, an ideal base for those wishing to explore this picturesque and unspoilt area. The Aran mountain (3000 ft), as well as many other walks can be reached by footpaths directly from both properties. For those wishing
a slower paced holiday, the valley is an ideal base for bird watching,
fishing and shooting. Horse riding, golf and quad biking are also available
nearby. Both lakes Bala and Vyrnwy are twenty minutes drive over the highest
pass in Wales. Barmouth and Aberdovey beaches are within easy driving
distance. Locally, we also have the Meirion Woollen Mill – café
and shop (2 miles) and the Centre for Alternative Technology (10 miles)
as well as a number of local restaurants and pubs serving excellent food
and offering good entertainment. |
